Are there any free software that allows me to use my laptop as a phone?

I have a Toshiba P200 (running Vista). It has been built into a microphone (and camera). I'm using the wireless network Orange has a toll-free. anyway I can use the microphone on the laptop to make calls to landlines with?

i belive you have a livebox! Tower kind of thing! You have to connect a phone the livebox in order to make calls, try to home page Vonage could see wht ur looking for, but THT is seprate from Orange, in a nutshell 'NO', not be at the moment, it can b in the near future:)
