Minolta DSLR cameras. It's worth the money to use now? Or upgrade to Sony Alpha?
I have a bag of old Minolta 35 mm lenses that my aunt gave me, and I'm still looking for a good camera to associate. I'd rather have a camera that comes without glasses, because this bag has all the lenses I normally required. I will believe to be all auto-focus, since they are relatively new in terms of 35mm lenses go … I know they'll fit cameras Minolta SLR and most if not all Sony Alpha series of cameras, so do not need to know that its one of the ones I'm going to need to buy. What I want to know specifically is: Is it worth the extra money to get a Sony Alpha? Or would be okay with one of the last Minolta SLR cameras? In addition, Does anyone have recommendations for a place to buy one of those without a lens? TigerDirect addition, Adorama or ebay? Unless someone has a staff that is willing to part with? Thanks in advance
If you can find the Minolta 7D at a decent price, the answer is yes. Not so much the 5D. You probably can find the Sony A100 there cheap, like $ 200. I saw an A200 in local Craig's List for $ 300 with (18-70) kit lens and bag. If your lenses are in fact MA assembly, which will work in the Alpha line.
